For those of you that wish to know, we're looking to move to Frome (which is pronounced as in "room") on the edge of the Mendips in Somerset; rail links (sort of) through to Reading and London and about 15 miles south of Bath. This will mean that I'm about 20 minutes from work in Shepton Mallet (ooh I wonder if I'm eligible for relocation expenses?!) and Rik is hopefully not too far away from Reading and any other contract work.

Hmm; We had a look at this place this morning. It is beautiful but it is also quite small: or at least it doesn't feel spacious and the garden's smaller than it looks and you are out the front door right onto a fairly busy road....
so perhaps not quite right for us but it's just the first and there seems to be quite a few things out there.
PS: One viewing on our place already
and one for sale sign mysteriously "disappeared" on Friday night ......!?!
